Paint: the refresh
Best when the boxes are solid and the layout works. You keep everything and change the finish. Fastest, least disruptive, lowest cost. See kitchen cabinet painting.
Reface: the middle path
New doors and drawer fronts, new veneer on the boxes. Best when you want a different door style — say, shaker instead of arched — but the boxes are fine. Costs more than painting, less than replacing.
Replace: the reset
New everything. Best when the layout is wrong, boxes are damaged, or the substrate is failing. Most expensive, most disruptive, longest timeline.
Our honest take
Most Orlando kitchens we see are paint candidates. The 90s and 2000s boxes are solid — only the finish is dated. We will tell you at your visit if yours are not. Call (301) 679-9193.
